The customer needed to start a call center closer to its parent company locally, but did not want to invest a lot. After meeting with them and discussing number of employees and needs, it was decided to use AMQ Solutions – Icon Series Benching work stations with OM Smart seating task chairs. This provided the number of required seats in the allotted space, creating ascetically pleasing lines and meeting the budget. The project had a very limited lead time of a 3-4-week window for ordering and installation, which was the main deciding factors on using AMQ and OM Seating. The work stations included about 109 call stations and 37 L Shape manager work stations, as well as private offices, conference, training and break rooms.
Artopex Takeoff series was used for the conference room tables, private offices and other huddle rooms. The customer wanted a modern style look and feel with a lower cost budget, and the use of Takeoff series achieved that objective. As with each project, they were able to pick their finishes and design with the help of our in-house interior designers at no cost. Artopex was able to meet the short deadline allowing the install of the work stations and the employees to move right in to the offices and conference rooms within a week or so.
Additional items have been added to what is now open collaborative meeting spaces and huddle areas with the use of Bernhardt, Allermuir, OFS, JSI, Maverick, Clarus, etc. We were able to meet the budget and lead time while maintaining the look the customer desired.
